    You don't use the flowers of this cut flower, but you do use the small ovary. You can let them dry and use them in (dried) bouquets.

    Silene is a light germinator. For this reason, it is better not to cover the seeds with a layer of soil. Sow them superficially over the soil and press lightly. Keep moist, but not wet. You can pre-sow Silene in pots or seed trays, but you can also get started in the open ground.
