This is the dark blue/purple brother in the barlow series. Very pretty colour that pops in the spring garden. Can also be served in a jar.
Sowing instructions
Akali is a light germinator. So you better not cover the seeds with soil. Apply the seeds shallowly over the soil and lightly press. Keep moist, but not wet. You can pre-sow them in trays, or sow them directly in the open ground. Give akelei some time, it can take a while for the seeds to germinate.
