Perhaps my most favourite summer viola out there. Beautiful apricot-coloured flowers that at times have a tinge of pink. Good picking flower.
Sowing instructions
Summer violet is a light germinator. The seeds should preferably not be covered with a layer of soil. They need sunlight to germinate. Pre-sow in pots or seed trays, or sow in the garden from late April and early May. Keep the soil moist, but not wet. The seeds germinate after an average of 10 days.
